DKNY vintage jumper £8, Papaya blue shirt £4, Hawai bathing suit £3 - all various charity shops/ Gold chain - Flea Market/ Vintage Levis/ Marc Jacobs watch and ring/ Primark Nails
Well I certainly had a successful charity shop trip last Saturday. Me and the BFF took a trip out in Clifton (a convenient 10 minute walk from her halls) for a spot of lunch and afterwards decided to have a ponder through the charity shops on and behind White Ladies Road- I'm sure many of you Bristol folk will know this area well! It's actually like a little gold mine for finding bargains and gorgeous vintage stuff- I actually saw a girl pick up some shorts identical to the ones I'm wearing (mine are from Urban Outfitters!) and spotted a pair of vintage YSL jeans- they were a men's 34 and sadly just that little bit too big to pull off as a boyfriend jean. The first thing I picked up with the electric blue silk shirt, it's originally from Papaya. I tried it on as I don't actually own anything else that color and fell in love with it, I think it'll be a great piece for the summer with shorts or open over a bikini! Next up was the vintage bather, I'm a sucker for backless stuff and palm trees so I couldn't very well leave this baby on the rack- it's a teensie bit big but with the short's its perfect for festivals and I think it'll look great with a skater skirt. Last but not least my most triumphant buy; the vintage DKNY jumper. I didn't realize until after I bought it it's actually a child's age 8, but I think it makes for such a nice fit crop jumper. I've worn it so much in the past week already, it seems to go with everything! I also love how it looks with my new gold choker/chain. This is actually another bargain I picked up on the Sunday on a trip to the flea market, a very successful weekend indeed! Have you guys picked up any second-hand bargains lately? I'd love to see (:
