Primark iPad Case | Apple SD Card adapter & charger | Whistles clutch & card holder | Asos slide ons | Cannon 50mm EF 1:8 II Lens | Paperblanks notepad | Vintage Giorgio Armarni sunglasses
We're less than two days away now from London Fashion Week so I thought I'd share with you guys my fashion week survival kit.
First up the necessities: iPhone & iPad
essential for blogging, Tweeting and Instagramming throughout the day, along with a charger and SD Card adapter for editing photos.
Sunglasses
Every girls fashion week saviour when the long days and running between shows starts to show, perfect for hiding any dark circles. My new Miu Miu ones have arrived just in time for Fashion Week- I can't wait to wear them!
Make-up
Pretty obvious. You need your basics with you for touch ups to make sure you're looking picture perfect for those street style snaps. I try to take 'sample size' bits as to free up space in whatever inappropriately sized bag I have with me, how cute is the mini Burberry Body sample?
Flats
I learned the hard way last season that flats are a must. Wear sky-scrapers to your hearts content but I promise you'll be thankful if you've got a pair of flats in-tow, especially if you end up with blisters rubbed raw to the cartilage like I did. Plus how cute are these Asos a la Isabel Marant slide on's?
Notebook
Essential for writing down the deets of people you meet, what you see at the shows and any other memos you might need to jot down. My gorgeous one is from Paperblanks and was one of my lovely christmas presents from Dave.
Water
Stay hydrated! Probably one of the most important pars of my survival kit. Sipping champagne and running around here there an everywhere during super long days will make you dehydrated, so having a bottle of water to hand is fundamental. It'll keep you working properly and keep your skin looking f-r-e-s-h.
Lens
My 50mm lens is great for catwalk images, it catches the moments perfectly and also makes for fab street style photos. But remember it's pretty zoomed in, so for quick close shots I use my basic one.
Card holder & cash
This compact little card holder saves me from lugging my purse around during LFW. My Bank card, ID and Oyster is all I need, that and a bit of spare cash- you never know when you may need to jump in a taxi.
Invites
Also pretty blatant but it's important to be organised with these so you're in the right place at the right time. I tend to keep them in a little pouch inside my bag so then don't get damaged or lost.
I hope you enjoyed this little LFW post, I'm really looking forward to this season- not long to go now!
