I wore this outfit to go street styling earlier this week with my friend Jack. As part of our course we have to source our own street trend an get around 20 of our own street style images of people wearing the trend- believe me it's a lot harder than it sounds. We spent a long time wandering around Notting Hill and Chelsea and I've finally got some good images, but all that wandering did no good for my feet and my new slip-ons. They look like the comfiest things ever right? Wrong. Do not attempt to wear them without socks unless you would like your heels rubbed raw to the cartilage. I love them too much not to wear them again so I'm hoping that was just the initial breaking-in phase.
A couple of things to excuse in this post- I was back to using my standard lens as clever old me managed to get water stuck inside my 50mm. Lucky I have the best boyfriend ever that got me a replacement and is letting me pay him back when I can, thank you Dave! It arrived yesterday so I'll be back to posting in better quality soon. Also the state of my hair- I was going for a natural waves type thing, but it got whipped around by the wind so much it's more like straggly haired with rather than beach-babe. Oh dear.
I'm also carrying a Cos bag, I did actually just buy something and not just using it as a paper handbag, as much as I love them. I popped into the one on Kings Road where we were street styling and picked up a gorgeous blue and rose gold necklace (here) which is similar to an orange one I've got. Cos are so on point when it comes to unique simplistic jewellery, and the price isn't bad either.
That's all for now, hope everyone's having a fabulous weekend. I'm currently in Brighton with Dave for a nights stay at the incredible Pelirocco Hotel- stay tuned for a special post about my stay next week!
