Palm Trees & Polka Dots

Polka dot's are just great. No matter the time of the year, they always add a bit of fun to your outfit, and are also surprisingly flattering, meaning I finally feel good enough to wear a pair of cream trousers.

These polka dotted beauties are from Joules, and they're the perfect fit for me. I usually struggle to find a trouser that sits well but the high waist and cropped hem ticks all the right boxes. I've also been wearing them with a cami top an blazer for something a little smarter, but for a brisk day out in London I paired it with my vintage DKNY jumper. I still can't believe how lucky I was to find this in a charity shop last year, and for only £5 too! It's light enough to wear in the summer and I loved the grey and cream combination in this look.
