LFW DAY 3

. September 23, 2014 .

Day 3 of LFW was probably the most fun, Choos, cocktails and shoe-shaped canapés, what more could a girl want?

I didn't make it down to Somerset House until about 12 on Sunday, thankful for the little lie in after the crazy two days before. I wore my trusty Reiss knit teamed with this Warehouse leather skirt that I never tire from wearing, fashion week doesn't always have to be about wearing something new! Although I did team it with my new pieces from Daniel Footwear, these maroon pumps have literally been burning a hole in my wardrobe so I was super stoked to take them out for a spin. My feet not so much.
First up was the Toga presentation at the crazy-beautiful St Pancras Hotel. It was the perfect setting for their arty SS15 collection. Paint strokes and mosaic-like mirror shards featured across garments from silk flowing dresses and asymmetric skirts to tailored outerwear. The collection was creatively artistic, playing with a variety of textures and shapes but still being incredibly feminine.
It was then back to Somerset House for Edeline Lee, held in a pop up venue on the River Terrace. This was probably one of my favourite presentations from LFW, models were situated in colour-coordinated little boxes - each matching their outfits. It was just simply adorable and they play on colours was so creative. My favourites were the rose-coloured pieces (of course) and the yellow on yellow set, just look at that eye-makeup.
I then hot-footed it to Jimmy Choo to celebrate the opening of their new Bond St store, #chootownhouse. Never have I seen quite so many beautiful things in one store. From slippers to stiletto's to slip-on's, it was shoe heaven at it's finest. Of course the Jimmy Choo photo booth and stiletto-shaped cookies didn't go down too badly either, and if that wasn't enough,  I met and got a mirror selfie with Danielle from We Wore What. Madness. A wonderful little paradise in amongst the craziness of LFW.
I finished the day back at Somerset House for David Koma. Taking a slight step away from his usual structural and sharp pieces, his SS15 collection showcased something a little softer. Angular lines and shapes still featured, but accross supple body-skimming dresses and tops with sheer panels, flashes of yellow and diamanté embellishments.

This is where my LFW post's come to an end. 3 intense days and unexpected Sunday night shenanigans really took it out of me, and I wanted to make sure I was all prepped and ready for Milan, which I just can't wait to tell you guys all about. STAY TUNED.
