Pont des Arts & Jardin des Tuileries

 Autumn Winter who? This floral get up was probably one of my favourite outfits worn during PFW, so of course it had to have the appropriate backdrop, two of my favourite iconic Parisian places, Pont Des Arts and the Tuileries gardens.

Safe to say this Missguided two-piece was burning a hole in my suitcase ever since I left London soil. We were lucky enough to be blessed with insanely good weather for our entire trip, and there's no better time to wear a bralette than in 30 degree parisian heat. 

After Lizzy and I locked on a padlock of friendship to the Pont des Arts, we wandered along it in the blistering heat, taking in enough romance to make you just a little heady. Though it has become somewhat of a tourist attraction, and it was my second time visiting, it's still such a beautiful place. Couples of all ages form all over the world come to lock away their love, it's pretty overwhelming of you stand there and just think about it, and if you hang around long enough there's bound to be a bride stopping for some wedding shots.

Afterwards we headed down to the Tuileries to sun ourselves by the fountains. I don't know what it is about the gardens but I never cease to feel anything but happy when I'm there, no matter how crazy busy I am or what's on my mind. If people have real-life happy places, this is definitely mine. After nearly dozing off in the intense heat, we cooled down in the shade with a glass of sauvignon before heading back to get ready for the nights parties.
