Féminin

As you may have seen from my Instagram, I accidentally slipped and fell into the Whistles sale the other day. At 70% off, I couldn't resist. This "Féminin" sweat was my most triumphant bargain at only £25. Though, of course I had to pair it with a most masculine look. Call it a juxtaposition in an outfit.

Another sale buy that left me feeling suitably smug were these black Lavish Alice culottes. I've worn my navy pair to the point the seams are giving and bobbles are appearing, I can't help but pair them with everything. They're so versatile and the most flattering pair of trousers I can wear, so of course I had to buy them in a third colour. When they temporarily reduced all sale items to £10 the other day, it was rude not to. But fear not, they're still at the bargain price of £24. 

Slipping on my trusty Zara loafers (which are also now down to £24, god damn it) and pinching Lizzie's Asos duster I was all set for a trip in Notting Hill with my mum. We made a stop at my favourite Italian, Sugo's, and spent the afternoon wandering up and down Portabello road. I really forget how beautiful it is there, and of course how perfect a back drop it makes for shooting blog photos.
