I touched down in London in the early hours of yesterday and it's safe to say every inch of me is missing sunny Majorca dearly. These images Lizzy and I shot on our last day which we spent exploring all of the beautiful corners of Palma. It really has to be one of my favourite cities, it's quaint in parts yet so rich in colour and culture, see more below.
Marks & Spencer trousers and Wallis top via Fashion Chick* | Missguided fringe jacket* | Superga trainers* | Topshop bag | Vintage Armani sungalsses (similar)
For this day of exploring it it was a little cooler, so I opted for a 70's boho look with these floaty pieces Fashion Chick chose for me at the launch - as I said in my last post, they really out did themselves. These M&S trousers are great for travelling and exploring, I also wore them on the plane there and back - they're that comfy. The boho print makes them perfectly fall into this 70's vibe I can't get enough of them at the moment, so of course I finished off the look with this Wallis paisley floaty blouse and Missguided fringe suede jacket.
Palma, as I mentioned, has quickly become one of my favourite cities. I visited it for the day a couple of years ago on a holiday with my boyfriends family (see photo diary here) and remembered how pretty it was then so was looking forward to rediscovering it again. Tiny cobbled streets are lined with pastel and terracotta coloured buildings with a intricate terraces, whilst on the next corner you'll be faced with an enormous cathedral and breathtaking architecture. Liz and I honestly didn't know where to look next so spent the entire afternoon getting lost in the Spanish city, finishing in the Catedral de Mallorca. I could have sat in there for hours absorbing the peaceful silence and gazing at the incredibly detailed architecture.
Cathedrals aside, Palma is also an amazing destination for shopping and eating. For lunch we dined at Born 8 (the prawn and mushroom risotto was insane!) on the Passeig des Born, a wide tree lined avenue full of bars and restaurants, truly a people watching haven. You'll also find a plethora of shops, art galleries and stalls ranging from quaint Spanish boutiques to Louis Vuitton and the most incredible Zara Home.
Adios amigas, until next time. x
