With this Easter weekend in Bristol came a little sunshine, so of course I had to take this new lace piece by Miss Selfridge out for a spin. I can't tell you how good it feels not to have to wear a coat after the winter months and layers upon layers I'm used to. Yesterday I spent some time in Clifton with my family, and obviously had to take advantage of the pretty surroundings and shoot this look - see more below.
Miss Selfridge distressed jeans, dress and long line sleeveless blazer*| Daniel Footwear snakeskin effect pumps (similar)* | Vintage Giorgio Armani sunglasses | Daniel Wellington watch* | Zara bag (very similar)
Though it's lovely not to be bundled up in shedloads of knitwear, I still love to layer in the spring. This longline blazer was there perfect length for draping over the dress, and of course helped me keep a little warmer too - this is the UK after all. I also gave a dress over denim a go for the first time, and whilst I may not pull it off a la Leandra Medine, I'm pretty happy with how this look turned out - lace and distressed denim is always a good combination.
Hope everyone's had a lovely Easter Weekend as I've had, now time to make a start on those easter eggs!
