Statement Knitwear for LFW

My blog (very much like my life) is a little all over the place at the moment. I'm between bikini-clad travel diaries and knitwear-focused autumn trend posts – and that's the sheer reality of it! After Turkey, I landed in London on the Friday of Fashion Week and headed straight to two days of shows before heading straight back to Gatwick for a few days in Mykonos with Charlotte. Add into the mix I recently moved back to Bristol and adjusting to not having a solid base in London, life is a little hectic. Am I complaining? Definitely not. I'm thriving on being busy and the spontaneity of travel (I've just this morning booked flights to New York for October – eek!). And though half of my belongings are still in boxes, I'm actually feeling more settled in myself than I have done in a long time.

So, rolling on from boat life in Turkey, today's post is all about this autumn-ready LFW ensemble by Wallis. I've made it a goal to experiment a bit more with my wardrobe for A/W. So rather than pile on a heavy jumper, I decided to try out a wrap for my first piece of knitwear this season. It's so light and wearable so a perfect transitional layering piece and the bold, eye catching stripes made it perfect for my fashion week look! I teamed it with some kick flares and chic black accessories to finish off the look. I'm always running around at fashion week so went for a midi heel in the form of these cute ankle strap court shoes – how cute do they look paired with these fishnet socks?! I was so happy with how it all came together. Wallis have some knockout pieces in right now and I can't wait to stock up on some more killer bits for Autumn winter!
