Wearing Metallics for LFW

After landing in London on Friday night, it was straight to the streets of Soho for London Fashion Week. It's this time of year when it really feels like the season's changing, I love getting a peek at the new collections and seeing fashion-friends form all over but what I most enjoy is the street style madness. In and around the shows you get to see how everyone's styling the current season's trends, fashion week is a great place to push boundries and experiment so it's my favourite place to get inspiration for the upcoming season.

I mentioned in my previous post with PANDORA how much I've been loving the metallic trend for A/W and there was a whole load of it amongst the street style folk. Sequins, shiny bomber jackets and a sea of metallic pleated skirts graced show-goers, brightening up the streets of Soho. My new PANDORA pieces were the perfect way to accessorise my take on the trend, bringing the look together and complimenting my skirt so well. Whilst balancing the metallic theme throughout my whole outfit, the jewellery added a touch of elegance to my fashion week look, a perfectly chic twist on the trend.

My day started with a handful of shows. There were beautiful sheer florals at Jasper Conran, gardener-chic vibes at Peter Jensen and as always, crazy glamour at Julien Macdonald, who showed us metallics are definitely here to stay for next season too. Come the afternoon, I was more than ready for a re-charge so it was off the the stunning Ham Yard hotel for PANDORA's fashion week refresh lounge in collaboration with the guys at Tumblr.

You'll have seen from my Instagram and Snapchat stories that it was the loveliest little sanctuary away from the fashion week madness. My blogger girlfriends and I had the change to enjoy some champagne, manicures and were even spoilt by a vending machine filled with PANDORA goodies from their beautiful Autumn Winter collection (I now have the perfect bracelet addition to these pieces!).
