Autumn Armour

As soon as I unwrapped this knit from its packaging, one thing came to mind – medieval knights and chainmail armour and I absolutely LOVED it. As I predicted back in early September, the metallics trend has blown up massively, especially with the fallout from fashion month – it's everywhere and I personally can't get enough of it. 

Futuristic and slightly festive (dare I use that word yet?!) it's an A/W trend you can wear in a multitude of ways. This silver knit by Glamorous is just gorgeous – I had so many compliments when I wore it to a couple of events last week. It's a cosy way to wear the trend, the wool is coated on the shell so there're no scratchy fibres that you usually find on sparkly knits and the fuss-free silhouettes make it a great layering piece too. 

Keeping it all about textures, I accessorised with my current go-to F21 bag and some badass velvet booties by Ego. I absolutely adore the detailing on these – velvet is so on trend right now and the gold hardware makes them look a little designer.
