I cannot believe Christmas is already over! I hope you all had a wonderful time over the festive period with your loved ones and had the chance to indulge in as much festive food and drink as I did. I’ve spent a lovely few days with my family and Dave’s, and after a 3-day food coma managed to make it out to the gym this morning!
Along with my 2017 health and fitness goals, I’ve also been thinking the oh-so-important New Years Eve outfit and dare I say it, my transitional Jan/Feb wardrobe. Subconsciously I’m browsing the sales for pieces that will take me from winter to spring – this gorgeous new jacket being one of them.
Grey is always such a great versatile colour between and during seasons and this faux leather beauty by Wallis is a refreshing sidestep from your usual black leather jacket. The detachable faux fur collar adds a great bit of winter warmth (and sass) that can be removed during the milder months. I’ve paired it with a fine embellished knit and black skinnies here but think it’ll look gorgeous layered over a crisp white shirt and some blue denim kick flares come spring too.
But for now (and the next couple of weeks) I’m still all about all-black outfits, cosy knits and of course that bit of festive sparkle. This embellished knit (also by Wallis) is just my favourite at the moment – thin enough to let under a coat and the beaded detailing adds such a chic twist to it.
Shop the look: Wallis jeans, knit & jacket, Radley bag, Collection & Co shoes, Missoma necklace
