Statement Shirting

Hi. Hello. Hey there friends. Been a little while hasn't it? Sorry for my absence (but not that sorry, I've been living like a jungle princess in Bali for the passed two weeks), we have a load to catch up on. My macbook air decided to die on me (maybe because I spilt a lil' micellar water in my luggage) on the third day of my trip so I'm a bit behind. I have so much to share with you – a tonne of good stuff from my trip especially, I don't really know where to start. 

So today, as the sun seems to have finally arrived in the UK (thank gad), I thought I'd share with you this little spring look I shot before my trip before tackling the 2000 images+ of my Bali content. This blouse was a triumphant HM sale find at £10! But I'm so obsessed with the stripes and ruffles combo I would've paid a whole chunk more. It's a lovely little fit and the washed out stripes give me some serious British seaside vibes – I couldn't resist. Teamed with some kickflares, cute flats and a trusty leather it makes for a great spring ensemble and I'll definitely be getting a lot of wear out of it this spring summer season. Also, thought's on the 'do? I've been a little obsessed with the half-bun (or 'hun', as some like to call it) lately and I think it definitely add's a cute little twist to your look.
